Show Notes

Mindahi provides a beautiful definition for sacred feminine power based on the origin stories of the Otomi-Toltec peoples, pays homage to his biggest mentor - his grandmother -  and shares about the challenges he faced going through the mainstream education system, being taught the ways of competition and polarity rather than those of unity.

He goes on to talk about

  • the importance of relearning the community way of living;
  • the spiritual crisis that we are in and how this is being reflected on the climate;
  • why it's crucial to start with ourselves to take care of our bodies, thoughts and our connection to Spirit and to acknowledge that we are in permanent reciprocity with all living beings on our planet;
  • how the concept of ancestors stretches beyond our human lineages to encompass animals, plants, deities, mountains, water bodies, clouds, oil, copper and much more;
  • how we all have a responsibility towards our beautiful planet, especially in relation to consumerism; and
  • the Four Earth Mandates; the Grand Council of Indigenous Spiritual Elders, Sacred Sites, Houses of Original Thought and Intercultural Exchange.
